Central Food Hall unveils new look
at Central Chidlom
A whole new experience with the best in food and wine
Central Food Retail Co., Ltd., has introduced a major renovation of its Central Food Hall @ Central Chidlom, with a new, trendier design that highlights a greater variety of fresh food and wine to create "A Whole New Experience" of new food and beverage zones for local and expatriate customers. Major attractions include the Cheese Room, Organic Zone, Crescendo Zone, and Wine Cellar – all available on Central Food Hall Ground Floor at Central Chidlom.
Mr. Nick Reitmeier, Vice President - Buying Perishable, Produce, International Food, Wine & Own Brand of Central Food Retail Company Limited as a "sourcing guru," has redesigned its store to look more modern and express the lifestyle of its local and expatriate customers. The redesign includes a new color tone in bright blue, a new product arrangement for more space, new zones for new items, and greater convenience for customers.

The Cheese Room, for example, is Thailand's first of its kind, welcoming more than 400 cheese items from leading 10 cheese-producing countries. The Organic Zone combines more than 3,000 organic items for health-conscious customers who choose to consume certified organic products. The Crescendo Zone offers the finest natural oils such as a variety of olive oils; nut- and fruit-based oils including almond, walnut, hazelnut, and avocado; seed- and grain-based oils including pumpkin, grape, and sesame; herb-based oils such as hot basil; truffle mushrooms; and original, organic balsamic vinegars in different tastes including apple, cherry, raspberry, mango, and others directly imported from the Mediterranean for health-conscious people.
 Restaurant choices include The Grill Bar & The Catch & Central Wine Cellar, where you can choose favorite pieces of seafood and beef to grill. More than 40 of the finest wine items are available for your selection. At Little Tokyo, you will find Japanese bakery items including choux pastries, Japanese-style bakery Chez Re'camier; Japanese style-donuts from Nyanko no Shippo; Ramankan Yokohama's kutsu sandwiches, curry rice, and tonkatsu; fresh milk at Hokkaido Milk. At the Oriental Dining Zone, you'll find the best brands such as Bharani Restaurant for Thai food, Lee Café for Chinese cuisine, and Blue Elephant for Asean and Indian foods.
